So we went to Todd's parents' house again today to help them fix their backyard retaining wall and fence. This winter because of the soil being very saturated, the whole thing collapsed into their neighbors yard behind them. So today everyone was hauling brick and digging brick out that had been buried by the avalanche. Ok, well, all I was doing was supervising and chasing kids. The retaining wall was about six feet high, so it's a pretty big mess. Next Saturday they will rent a backhoe to dig out more dirt and then begin to rebuild the retaining wall again and hopefully get the water in the soil problem fixed. It's a big project and hopefully it won't take all summer.
This evening we watched BYU play UNLV in the Mountain West Conference Championship. And I am sad to say that UNLV beat them by 15 points! It was sad. They were ahead at half time, but the whole second half they just had lost their steam. No one could hit any of their shots and UNLV was just lucking out on all their three pointers. Ok, I'll stop my spill on the Cougars. I know they'll be going to the NCAA tournament next week, but it makes me wonder how well they'll do. Some days they're hot and other times they are lousy. If only they could play more consistently. Wait, I thought I didn't like basketball all that much. Well, I guess watching them lose has gotten me all riled up.
I am trying to get Karsten to go bed. He doesn't believe in staying in his own bed. He thinks he has free reign of the house. All the other kids are asleep except him, which is a usual sight at our house. I am waiting on laundry to finish so I can go to bed. I will admit I am lousy at getting everything ready for Sunday. There's always something that is getting done at the last minute. And I have no idea where Dane and Karsten's Sunday clothes are. Both of the new outfits I bought them are no where to be found. So, they are just going to wear their old Sunday clothes. I wonder if they thought they wear dorky looking and trashed them when mom wasn't looking. You know how I like tapered pants and vests and loafers. hahahhahaha Well, these didn't have vests, just pullover sweaters. Red, white, and blue. So patriotic. Anyways, oh, something funny Alex did today. Apparently he couldn't find any underwear to wear this morning. So, he gets one pair out of the laundry, just one. Then he puts it the washer and washes it. Of course I didn't even know he had done this until he takes his one pair of underwear out of the washer to dry them. I'm like, you could have washed all your underwear dude! hahahahaha Well, anyways, this will end this evening's blogging. TTFN

Why Do Body Parts Go Bezerk
So yesterday I was contemplating how it had been a few weeks since my gallbladder has acted up and thinking maybe it was subsiding and wonder if I really needed to have the HIDA Scan done (scheduled in April). I should never jinx myself. Todd and I go to Costco to do a little shopping and I had to go sit in the car cause I was having pain. Go figure. I should stop thinking that it is going away cause it always comes back. Oh well. Part of the mortal experience, I suppose, to have body parts go bezerk on you. And then there's this freckle on my neck that I don't think is a freckle. It could be a mole. It developed a sore one time and it is kind of raised. Oh the list of medical problems to have fixed. And then I have this growth in my stomach that is making me look fatter. Oh wait, that's a baby. I guess I can get rid of that growth here in about six months. :) Well, the washer has finished it's cycle. So I need to go get the laundry and throw it into the dryer. There's also dishes to do. We are going to Todd's parents' house this afternoon. At least there's something to look forward to. Todd wants to watch the Mountain West Men's Basketball tournament. The Cougars play their first game this afternoon. I don't mind watching basketball, but I'd much rather watch a football game. Ok, I guess that's it for now.

Just Another Ordinary Day
Well, it is already noon and I haven't showered yet. What else is new. I have spent the morning cleaning the family room. There is probably two months worth of mess in the house right now to get cleaned and reorganized. The kids have jobs to do every day, but for some reason they seem to think that you just move one mess to another room. So with me being out of commission for a while, messes just got moved around while more messes were created. I love it! It's awesome having kids. Never a dull moment. I helped a neighbor jump start her car this morning. I had no idea how to do it and neither did she, so we got a third neighbor to help. Who knew that black goes to black and red goes to red. I was just afraid that we were gonna blow up the car! hahahahah Oh well. I am now confident I could do it by myself if I had to. I am feeling great as far as the morning sickness goes. I hope it is gone for goood! I did wake up at 1:30 in the morning with a headache that wouldn't go away. Finally. it has subsided. One of those joys of pregnancy. This is the year of the baby in our ward. Besides me, seven other ladies will be having babies. One is having twins and she is huge! We were watching a show last night about a couple who had quintuplets. The kids said they hoped I had five in my tummy too. I just laughed. I told Kate if that happend, she'd have to be home schooled again so she could help me. She said that was ok, except she did like going to school. The children are quite excited about a baby coming to our house. When I was pregnant with Karsten, they didn't seem all that interested. I guess they were all still too young. Now they are always talking about it and asking questions and fighing over whose room the baby will sleep in. Well, now it's time for lunch and a shower. Hopefully the sky will clear up and it will get a little warmer so we can go and play outside again today.

Ok, so here I am
Well, I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and start my own blog. It looks like fun. So, well, I don't know what to say. I think I'm gonna grab the kids and go to Del Taco for dinner. It's Taco Night! Three tacos for 99 cents. We are such cheap skates. The weather today was beautiful! We pulled weeds, pruned trees, and mowed all the dead grass off the lawn. My violas are blooming little purple and yellow flowers! I was totally shocked. The daffodils and tulips are popping up out of the ground. Well, my stomach is a rumbling. I will post more later.
