What's Up?

~with me~  I've been feeling weird lately.  I feel like I'm gonna faint, but I haven't yet. I've never had a problem playing the organ at church, but for three Sundays I struggle with the feeling of fainting.  If I concentrate real hard, I have no problems, but I've been playing for three years and this is all new.  (Well, I've been having other weird symptoms too, and I'm trying to put them altogether.)  Perhaps I'll call the doctor.

~with Alex~  Slowly and surely Alex is working toward his (yeah, well really mine) goal of walking 200 miles by the middle of the summer.  So far he has walked 40 1/4 miles.  He gets to go to the thrift store every 12 1/2 miles and out to dinner every 25 miles.  He got to go to a Korean restaurant for his first 25 miles.  He loved it and wants to go again!

~with Seth~  Seth likes to ride in his stroller when Alex and I go walking.  In the photos below, we are walking at Wheaton Regional Park.

Seth enjoying a few crackers during our stroll. (That's my $15 thrift store jogging stroller!  It's a good thing it was only $15 because we are starting to tear it up on some of our more rocky hikes.  We've had to lift it over streams and even had to take Seth out to get up a hill.)
A goose in the background.  They wouldn't move when we walked by, just stared at us suspiciously.
If you look real close you can see the turtles sunbathing on the log!

One thing I like about where we live is that there are many walking/hiking trails all over.  Now is the best time to hike, as I'm afraid if we wait until summer the mosquitoes will be out in full force!

~with Kate~  Kate just recently tried out for cheerleading and made it.  I'm happy that she has the confidence to try new things, because that is something I would have never done in Junior High.  She's also getting ready to perform in "The Wiz" in two weeks.  They have three performances.

Well, I'm going to go take a nap now.  I will continue this post later.

You need to go to the doctor!

Alex - What an awesome goal! I need a goal like that. I am lucky if I can waddle to my mailbox each day without being out of breath. :)

Seth - I cannot believe how big he is getting!

And Kate - That is awesome! I would never have tried out for cheerleading or a school play! Way to go Kate!
