Paint Branch Trail

On Monday Alex, Seth, and I hiked the Paint Branch Trail.  It was a 2.7 mile hike.  So we hiked a total of 5.4 miles.  It was a little steep in a few places and we had to stop and rest a few times, but it is a nice trail.  It is paved the whole way.  It is nice for pushing the stroller or if you were riding a bike.  This trail is really fun and kind of magical.  It is surrounded by trees and you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere and you happen upon a basketball court.  You head down a bit further and you come to a small playground.  A little bit further down is a pond.  All of these places are surrounded by trees, kind of like a "Secret Garden" kind of feel.  I am going to take the rest of the children on this hike next week during Spring Break.  I think they will like it as well.  Alex has now walked a total of 50 miles!  Congratulations, Alex!
